EU-27


Clearinghouse Support:
The project aims at enhancing rational use of energy (RUE) in the building sector taking point of departure in EU policy goals. Specifically the project will set up and operate Project Service Facilities (PSF) in targeted regions (Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Crete) Clients: EU Intelligent Energy Europe, project owners in the targeted regions www.clearsupport.eu

Sustainable Energy Community Tools (SEC-Tools): D evelopment of tools supporting the process of developing sustainable energy communities in municipalities in EU New Member States, addressing technical, organisational and financial aspects of sustainable energy practice. Clients: EU Intelligent Energy Europe, 9 municipalities in New Member States (Latvia , Lithuania , Poland , Eastern Germany, Czech Republic ) www.sec-tools.net

T@W: Sustainable Energy Technology at Work: Promotion of the use of sustainable energy technologies/RTD in Europe (EU27, EFTA and candidate countries) and Asia ( China , Thailand , Malaysia and India ) by means of CDM and JI mechanisms. www.setatwork.eu

SERVE (Sustainable Energy for the Rural Village Environment): This project aims at demonstrating sustainable energy use in rural communities through retrofitting actions in 500 existing buildings in a cluster of villages in rural Ireland; and demonstration of rational use of energy and renewable energy supply in 135 buildings in a new sustainable community, with supply and demand in balance ( EU CONCERTO ) www.servecommunity.eu

SummerHeat: A ssessing and developing the political framework and market conditions within the European Union for district cooling, including tariff issues. Dissemination of project results through seminars, Web-site, guidelines etc. Client: EU Intelligent Energy Europe www.eu-summerheat.net

DISTRES, Promotion and consolidation of all RTD activities for renewable distributed generation technologies in the Mediterranean region (DISTRES): The project, which is funded by EU and headed by Cyprus Electricity Authority, will mainly focus on electricity generation from solar energy for the Mediterranean needs Client: EU FP6 Programme www.distres.eu

D-Ploy, Polygeneration in Industries: The project, which is headed by COGEN Europe, aims at assessing and developing framework conditions for industrial polygeneration in selected European industrial sectors. The project is headed by COGEN Europe. Client: EU Intelligent Energy Europe www.d-ploy.eu

INOFIN, Design of Financial Schemes tailored to Refurbishment of Social Housing: Assessment of existing schemes in relation to prevailing barriers and design of new ready to implement schemes, including necessary changes of the Legal and Institutional System.
