Polygeneration in European Industries From December 2006 Energy Consulting Network A/S is involved in the Intelligent Energy Europe Project: D-Ploy - Polygeneration in Industries, which is headed by COGEN Europe . The D-ploy project aims to understand why industrial polygeneration projects in selected European industrial sectors have been few and far between over the past few years.

Electricity generation from solar energy in the Mediterranean region From January 2007 energy consulting Network is involved in the project: "Promotion and consolidation of all RTD activities for renewable distributed generation technologies in the Mediterranean region" (DISTRES). The project, which is funded by EU and headed by Cyprus Electricity Authority, will mainly focus on electricity generation from solar energy for the Mediterranean needs.

New EU project facilitating local clearinghouse establishment From January 2007 Energy Consulting Network will lead a consortium for the project "ClearSupport" under the Intelligent Energy Europe Programme. The project proposal takes point of departure in the EC's intentions for establishing a Clearinghouse for promotion of small-medium scale sustainable energy projects as stated in the EU Green Paper on Energy Efficiency. The technology focus is on RUE in building measures.

CONCERTO Project in Ireland Energy Consulting Network is involved in the CONCERTO Project SERVE (Sustainable Energy for the Rural Village Environment), planned to commence in February 2007. This project aims at demonstrating sustainable energy use in rural communities through retrofitting actions in 500 existing buildings in a cluster of villages in rural Ireland ; and demonstration of rational use of energy and renewable energy supply in 135 buildings in a new sustainable community, with supply and demand in balance.

Capacity building projects on renewable energy in Asia From January 2006 Energy Consulting Network will be involved in two development projects aiming at building up human resource capacity on biogas and wind energy in the Philippines and in Vietnam . The projects are partly granted by EU funds (EU ASEAN Energy Facility).
