SETatWork - New FP7 project on technology promotion at the carbon markets
Energy Consulting Network is coordinator of a project supported by the 7th Framework Programme for promotion of energy efficiency and savings at the carbon markets, entitled SETatWork. One part of the project is oriented towards the European Emission Trading Scheme (ETS) market and another part towards CDM markets in Asia and Latin America. The project runs two years from September 1st, 2008, with involvement of 15 partners.
The key objective of SETatWork is to assist European industries in meeting the challenge given by climate change, including how to operate on the ETS market and how to engage in CDM projects.
SETatWork builds on a previous FP6 project, entitled T@W, which ended earlier this year. The technology focus of T@W concerned renewable energy technologies and culminated with a series of Facilitation workshops in the Spring 2008 for bringing together market actors. The project’s achievements are described in a publication, including good practice examples and recommendations on future activities
